Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has been managing the exchange of new notes for the public during national festivals including Bada Dashain for the past few years.
The global epidemic of Covid-19 is spreading rapidly even in Nepal; It is also requested that the health standards set by the Government of Nepal for its prevention and control should not allow overcrowding in banks.
Currently, the infection has spread to the employees of Nepal Rastra Bank and other banks and financial institutions And in view of the high probability of the spread of infection from congestion during cash exchange due to the considering the health sensitivities of ordinary Nepali citizens; For the purpose of this year's Bada Dashain from any of the offices of Nepal Rastra Bank non-provision of new note exchange facility.
