The government has passed a new school-level curriculum. A new school-level curriculum submitted by the National Curriculum and Evaluation Council to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have passed the curriculum. It has also been decided by the National Examination Board (NEB) to take the final exam of Class 11. Earlier, there was confusion as to whether the school would take the final exam of the class or whether the board would. After this decision, the National Examination Board is responsible for the final examination of Class 11 and 12. It is the responsibility of the state government for the examination of class 10.
The curriculum development center, Sanothimi, has prepared a new curriculum to improve the learning of children after it was revealed by the government statistics that students' learning in mathematics, English and Nepalese in small classrooms was weakening. The Center has recently implemented a new integrated curriculum for grades 1 through 3. The course is being tested in 100 schools. According to the grading from grades 4 to 12, the new curriculum with credit hour was passed by a meeting chaired by Education Minister Girirajman, Director General of the Center. Lekhnath Poudel said. Poudel also said that the Center has arranged for the examination of both Classes 11 and 12 for the students to be responsible and serious about their studies.
