New Curriculum in Class 11 From This Academic Session - Ministry of Education:

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has clarified that the new curriculum for class 11 in all schools of the country has been implemented from this academic session. The ministry has made the statement public as the Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools' Association Nepal (HISSAN) and others have expressed their disagreement.

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Bidur Raj Giri issued a press release stating that the new curriculum has been implemented as per the 'National Curriculum Draft for School Education, 2076'. Complaints have been received that some schools are preparing to teach according to the old curriculum and the students will be assessed according to the new curriculum.

The new curriculum includes Social Studies and Life Skills Education as a compulsory subject. The ministry has also urged the local level to monitor the implementation of the new curriculum. The Curriculum Development Center has already issued a notice about the new curriculum. A printable copy of the syllabus has been prepared for publication and teacher orientation.
