On the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Bidhdevi Bhandari on Wednesday divided the appointment, general changes, and division of the existing cabinet.
Nine new faces have been added to the Council of Ministers, including six ministers and three state ministers. Leaders Hridayesh Tripathi, Ghanshyam Bhusal, Rameshwor Rai Yadav, Vasantakumar Nembang, Lekhraj Bhatt, Vasant Kumar Nembang and Parbat Gurung have joined the government.
Similarly, three new faces have also been added to the ministers of state. According to the President's Office, Motilal Dugad, Nawaraj Rawat and Ramvir Manandhar have joined the government along with the Minister of State. The post of some of the ministers who have been in talks to quit the government remains. The number of women could not be added to the newly added minister and minister of state. The two women ministers who were in the previous cabinet remain the same.
Among the ministers who will be left out of the council are Matrika Yadav, Lal Babu Pandit, Thamaya Thapa, Gokarna Bista, Raghuvir Mahaseth, and Chakrapani Khanal. Similarly, the ministers of state, Dhan Bahadur Budha, Ramkumari Chaudhary, and Dr. Surendra Kumar Yadav has also got a vacation.
Prime Minister's Press Advisor Surya Thapa said the oath n of the new ministers will take place on Thursday. Likewise, the President's Principal Private Secretary Dr. Bheshraj Adhikari also said that the ministers will take the oath of office and secrecy at around 11 am on Thursday.
In 2074 Falgun, KP Sharma Oli, who had been the Prime Minister, has repeatedly made general changes to the Council of Ministers but has now joined nine ministers, including six ministers and three state ministers. He has said goodbye to such numbers.
