The building of Mahendra Secondary School in Dadeldhura, built with the help of Japan, was handed over during a program on Friday (16th December 2022). The building with a capacity of 400 students was built with the financial support of the Japanese government under the 'Grassroot Human Security Project', which was built at a cost of 1 crore (81 thousand four hundred and 65 US dollars).
At the school building handover event, the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Kikuta Yutaka sent a congratulatory message and thanked everyone who participated in the construction of the school building. He also hoped that the newly constructed school building would contribute to quality education in Dadeldhura and surrounding districts.
Established in 1957 AD, Mahendra Secondary School is an important educational institution of the region, which has been providing general and technical education.
