Nepal Telecom, under the corporate social responsibility of the company, has sponsored food for one year for the animals and birds in Central Zoo - National Trust for Nature Conservation Jawalakhel.
The agreement has been signed by Chief Commercial Officer Sangita Pahadi on behalf of Nepal Telecom and Director Rachna Shah on behalf of Central Zoo, Jawalakhel. Member Secretary of National Trust for Nature Conservation Sharad Adhikari and other officials of both the organizations were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Chief Business Officer Pahadi said that various programs could be held between Nepal Telecom and Central Zoo in the coming days to enhance mutual interest and this was a start.
Sharad Adhikari, Member Secretary, National Trust for Nature Conservation, assured that the agreement with Nepal Telecom would benefit both the parties at the Central Zoo, which is attended by many tourists.
As per the National Trust for Nature Conservation Agreement, Nepal Telecom will provide food for one year for one tiger and other animals and birds in the Central Zoo.
From time to time, Nepal Telecom has been assisting various sectors and areas under corporate social responsibility.
