Nepal Telecom Recommends for Promotion based on Performance Appraisal (8th Level Officer)

Nepal Telecom, also known as Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited, has released a notification regarding work capacity assessment for promotions within the company. The Central Office Vacancy Committee has recommended that the company fill the following posts through promotions based on the regulations set forth in the Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited Staff Regulations, 2078 (with the first amendment).

Eligibility Criteria for Promotion

According to Regulation 35, candidates who have completed the required service period in the position below one level of the relevant service group and have obtained the minimum educational qualifications as per Schedule 2 are eligible for the promotion. Additionally, candidates who are currently working in a position below one level of the respective service group and have duly registered the promotion application form through the online system within the prescribed period are also eligible.

Regulations 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42 of the Staff Regulations apply to this promotion process. As per Regulation 35(1), the promotion committee will consider candidates in the following order of merit, based on the highest marks obtained.

Publication of the Notification

The notification, published on 2080/1/19, is intended for regulation 43(1) of the same regulation and is meant to inform all concerned parties regarding the recommended practice according to the decision made on 2080/1/16 and dated 2080/1/18. This information is essential for those interested in applying for a promotion within Nepal Telecom.
