Nepal Teachers' Association has announced the second phase of the agitation program. The federation has stated that the second phase of the agitation program will start on May 19.
The Nepal Teachers' Association will send an open letter to the Prime Minister, Speaker, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, and the Minister of Finance regarding the demand.
General Secretary of the Association Laxmikishore Subedi and Co-Chairman Purna Prasad Dawadi have made public the schedule of the program. He said that on May 21, every teacher and staff would send a slogan on the mobile number of the Minister of Education, Science and Technology and the Minister of Finance to immediately vaccinate teachers and school staff against covid, and increase the salaries of classroom teachers and school staff.
On May 23, there will be online interaction and discussion between the whips of the parliamentary parties of the political parties represented in the parliament and the demands and current issues submitted by the association. The association has made public its plan to post the photo on its Facebook wall by writing the six highlighted demands on the black sticker made by the center and sticking it on the chest on May 25.
On May 27, every teacher and a staff member will send the protest letter, demand letter, and the shadow of the agreement submitted by the Nepal Teachers Federation to the Hon'ble Minister of Education, Science, and Technology in the email and Facebook message box of the Federal and State Assembly MPs within their constituency. The program of the third phase will be held on June 1, said Laxmi Kishor Subedi, General Secretary of the Association.
