Nepal Police Issued Code of Conduct:

A code of conduct has been issued on how to conduct operations within the police organization. Inspector-General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri on Sunday made public the mandate - 2077 regarding the code of conduct to be followed by the police personnel.

The mandate mentions the discipline, respect and necessary rules to be followed while staying in the police organization. While issuing the mandate, Inspector General of Police Thapa Chhetri said that the mandate and directives would have a far-reaching positive impact on the organization.

"The mandate and directives have a far-reaching positive effect on getting the organization on the right track. It will help improve the image of the police," said Inspector General of Police Thapa Chhetri.

Central Spokesperson of the Nepal Police, Kuver Kadayat, said that a code of conduct mandate has been issued regarding the conduct and behavior of the police organization and it is believed that the mandate will help make the organization disciplined and responsible.

‘A code of conduct has been issued regarding the observance of various rules within the police organization. I am confident that the mandate will help make the organization disciplined and responsible, ”police spokesperson Kadayat told Rajdhani.

The mandate clarifies the conduct of public relations and meetings, discipline and brotherhood, observance of the law, relations with the media, attitudes towards dress, respect for the national flag, arrangements for salute and respect, and behavior in the kitchen.

On the occasion, Inspector General Chhetri instructed the police officers present to work in a professional manner even in the streets as professionalism is the main thing in the police organization.

He also stressed on the need to take control of Covid-19 as a global epidemic and work together to control it. He also launched the implementation tracking software of Nepal Police Action Plan 2077 at the program.

The program was attended by Additional Inspector Generals of Police, Deputy Inspector Generals of Police, and the province Police Chief.
