Nepal Open University Seeks Sister Schools (Meteri School) in Bagmati and Lumbini Provinces for Collaboration and Partnership

Nepal Open University has recently announced its search for sister schools (Miteri School) in Bagmati and Lumbini provinces, to provide teaching practice, internships, research, and collaboration opportunities to students studying in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education.

Application Process:

Nepal Open University's Faculty of Social Sciences and Education is offering students the opportunity to collaborate with partner schools on teaching practices, internships, research, teaching methods, and technology. To apply for a partnership, public schools can send an email to [email protected] within fifteen days of the publication of the notice. Criteria for Affiliation

The criteria and conditions for the selection of affiliated schools have been specified in the procedures related to the selection and management of operational work of the university 2079. To be considered for affiliation, the school must have its own building and land, and there should be a maximum number of students for teacher training, workshops, and research. Additionally, permission from the school management committee and the local level is required for cooperation.

Selection Process

Miteri schools will be selected from the state level, with priority given to public schools that run from class 8 to 12. Interested schools operating in Bagmati and Lumbini provinces can apply via email from 1st March to 15th March 2023. The selection process will involve careful evaluation of each application to ensure that the schools meet the requirements for affiliation.
