The Nepal Open University has begun offering a Master's program in Information Technology. The MIT program has been launched under the university's Faculty of Science, Health and Technology.
Program Coordinator Satya Ram Suwal has stated that the program allows students to specialize in Data Science and Cyber Security. According to him, the two-year, four-semester program requires applicants to hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
The university will accept 50 students per batch in this program. Classes will be conducted online in the evenings, allowing students to study from anywhere in the world during their free time after work or other commitments.
