Nepal Oil Corporation Reduces Prices of Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene, and Aviation Fuel
On Monday, Ashoj 14, 2081, during an evening board meeting, Nepal Oil Corporation (Nepal Oil Nigam) NOC's Board of Directors decided to reduce fuel prices. The prices have been decreased as follows:
- Petrol: Reduced by NPR 1 per liter
- Diesel and Kerosene: Reduced by NPR 2 per liter
- Aviation Fuel (Domestic): Reduced by NPR 6 per liter
After the reduction, the prices are as follows in different regions:
- In Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, petrol is priced at NPR 155 per liter, while diesel and kerosene are priced at NPR 146 per liter.
- In Surkhet and Dang, petrol is priced at NPR 157 per liter, and diesel and kerosene are priced at NPR 146 per liter.
- In Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, petrol is priced at NPR 158 per liter, and diesel and kerosene are priced at NPR 147 per liter.
Similarly, the price of domestic aviation fuel has been set at NPR 126 per liter. For international aviation fuel, the price at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu is set at USD 960 per kiloliter, and at Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports, it is NPR 860 per liter, as per the information provided by Nepal Oil Corporation.
