Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Hike Prices of Petrol, Diesel, Kerosine, and Aviation Fuel: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has again increased the price of fuel. A meeting of the NOC board of directors held on Wednesday has increased the price of diesel, kerosene, and petrol by Rs 5 per liter with effect from midnight.
According to the new price list, petrol now costs Rs 155 per liter, while kerosene and diesel cost Rs 138 per liter.
On the domestic side, aviation fuel has increased by Rs 15 to Rs 151 per liter; Internationally, USD 200 per kiloliter has increased. At the same time, the price per kiloliter has reached 1495 US dollars.
The price of LP gas for cooking has not increased. However, the corporation claims a loss of Rs 665.34 per cylinder.
According to him, there is a loss of Rs 28.57 per liter on petrol, Rs 32.15 per liter on diesel, and a profit of Rs 24.34 per liter on kerosene. Similarly, there is profit in aviation fuel.
NOC claims that price adjustment will reduce the estimated 15-day deficit from Rs 5.30 billion to Rs 4.44 billion.
