In the last 24 hours, more than 5700 coronavirus infections have been confirmed across the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the infection has been confirmed in 5727 people. The ministry also said that 33 deaths had been reported in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2404 people in Kathmandu alone. Similarly, 419 people have been confirmed infected in Lalitpur and 133 in Bhaktapur. Similarly, 161 cases have been confirmed in Morang, 153 in Parsa, 36 in Nawalparasi East, 473 in Rupandehi, 422 in Banke, and 252 in Dang.
Similarly, 97 cases have been confirmed in Surkhet and 46 in Kanchanpur. There are more than 500 active infected people in 12 districts and 10 districts with more than 200 infected people.
According to the Ministry, 15,391 people tested PCR, and 5,657 reported positive. Likewise, 525 people tested with the antigen method and 70 reported positive.
At the same time, the total number of corona infections in the country has reached 323,187 and the number of those who have recovered has reached 281,095. In the last 24 hours alone, 928 people have been cured.
At present, the number of active infected people has reached 38,813 and the total number of deaths has reached 3,289. So far, PCR tests of 24 lakh 73 thousand 956 people have been done.
