Nepal Covid-19 Update: In the Last 24 Hours, 4524 New Cases and 18 Deaths
In the last 24 hours, more than 4500 coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, in the last 24 hours, tests using both PCR and antigen methods have confirmed the infection in 4524 people.
According to the ministry, 14,672 people were tested for PCR and 4,346 people were infected, while 1,099 people were tested for antigen and 160 people were infected.
The ministry also said 18 more people had been reported dead in the past 24 hours.
At the same time, the total number of corona infections in the country has reached 37,925 and the number of those who have recovered has reached 278,506. Similarly, the death toll has reached 3,194.
Currently, the number of active infected people has reached 26,225.
In the last 24 hours, 1,602 corona infections have been reported in Kathmandu, 515 in Banke, 383 in Rupandehi, 240 in Lalitpur, 230 in Dang, 129 in Kaski, and 124 in Bhaktapur.
Similarly, 86 cases have been confirmed in Bardiya, 86 in Morang, 80 in Chitwan, 74 in Surkhet, 72 in Makwanpur, 67 in Parsa, 51 in Sunsari, 46 in Kanchanpur, and 45 in Palpa.
Similarly, 35 people have been infected in Kapilvastu, 32 in Kailali, 31 in Kavrepalanchok, 27 in Dhanusha, and 26 in Bara.
