Nepal Covid-19 Update: 9271 New Cases and 139 Deaths (10th May 2021)

In the last 24 hours, 9,271 people have been infected with the coronavirus and 139 have died. 17,623 PCR tests and 788 antigen tests were performed.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 139 people were found dead on the basis of the corpses managed by the Nepal Army. The number of deaths due to corona in Nepal has reached 3,859.

In the last 24 hours, 4,007 people have been recovered. As of Monday, 93,141 people have been actively infected across the country. Of them, 6715 are in institutional isolation and 56 thousand 426 are in home isolation. Currently, 910 people are being treated in the ICU and 295 in the ventilator.

The total number of corona infections in Nepal has exceeded 400,000. In the last 24 hours, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 9271 more people in Nepal and the number of infected people has exceeded 400,000. As of Monday, 403,794 people had been infected with the corona, and 306,794 had been recovered.

In the last 24 hours, 3,607 people have been infected with a corona in Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 2,775 in Kathmandu, 505 in Lalitpur, and 327 in Bhaktapur.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, in the last 24 hours: 530 in Rupandehi, 473 in Kaski, 399 in Morang, 395 in Kanchanpur, 392 in Chitwan, 340 in Kailali, 295 in Banke, 246 in Dang, and 248 in Makwanpur, 154 in Jhapa, 144 in Parsa, 144 in Dhanusha, 127 in Kavre, 115 in Kapilvastu and 108 in Palpa. 

Similarly, 94 cases have been confirmed in Sunsari, 89 in Mahottari, 77 in Rautahat, 76 in Nawalparasi West, 73 in Achham, 70 in Dhading, 62 in Gorkha, and 55 in Udayapur.

According to the ministry, in the last 24 hours, there is 815 infected corona in Province 1, 553 in Province 2, 4,520 in Bagmati, 773 in Gandaki, 1,557 in Lumbini, 56 in Karnali, and 853 in Sudurpashchim.
