Nepal Covid-19 Update: 9196 New Cases and 50 Deaths In the Last 24 Hours [Friday]

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 9,196 people in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 19,987 PCR tests, 9,023 and 495 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 73 people.

In the last 24 hours, 50 people have died due to coronavirus infection and 2,905 have been recovered. As of Friday, the number of active cases of coronavirus in Nepal has reached 78,629. Out of which 72 thousand 769 are in home isolation and 5 thousand 860 are in institutional isolation. Similarly, 728 people are being treated in ICU and 231 in ventilators.

As many as 3,579 people have died from the coronavirus infection as of Friday. Similarly, the number recovered so far has reached 295,395.

In the last 24 hours, the number of corona infections in Kathmandu Valley has exceeded 4,000. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,100 corona infections have been confirmed in the Kathmandu Valley, of which 3,089 are in Kathmandu, 374 in Bhaktapur, and 643 in Lalitpur.
