In the last 24 hours, 96 people have died from corona infection and 6,951 have been confirmed infected. Similarly, the number of coronaviruses recovered has reached 9,841. This is the largest number ever recovered in a single day. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the death toll has dropped to less than 100

At the same time, the total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Nepal has reached 549,111. The number of active infected has dropped to 113,394.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the highest number of corona infections has been confirmed in 1796 in Kathmandu, 392 in Kavre Palanchok, 315 in Lalitpur, 256 in Sindhupalchowk, 226 in Jhapa, 213 in Bhaktapur, and 211 in Rukum.

189 in Kaski, 170 in Okhaldhunga, 170 in Sunsari, 120 in Rolpa, 166 in Morang, 151 in Chitwan, 139 in Kailali, 137 in Mahottari, 130 in Dang, 118 in Makwanpur, 118 in Bardiya, 109 in Banke, 102 in Syangja and 101 in Dolakha.

Similarly, 98 coronas have been infected in Dhading, 97 in Dhanusha, 89 in Nuwakot, 83 in Tanahu, 72 in Sindhuli, 65 in Palpa, 61 in Surkhet, 54 in Dadeldhura, 51 in Parbat, 50 in Gulmi, and 50 in Kanchanpur.

There are 48 infected in Rautahat, 46 in Baitadi, 43 in Bara, Saptari, Kapilvastu, 43 in Achham, 42 in Dhankuta, 40 in Gorkha, 39 in Nawalparasi East, 38 in Udayapur, 34 in Siraha, 30 in Sarlahi and 30 in Doti.

Similarly, 29 people have contracted corona in Sankhuwasabha, 28 in Parsa, 21 in Nawalparasi West, 19 in Kalikot, 17 in Ramechhap, 13 in Myagdi, 13 in Arghakhanchi, 12 in Rasuwa, 11 in Ilam, and 11 in Lamjung.

9 in Panchthar, 8 in Pyuthan, 8 in Rukum West, 5 in Salyan, 6 in Baglung, 4 in Bhojpur, 4 in Jumla, 3 in Khotang, 3 in Taplejung, 3 in Darchula, 2 in Rukum East, 2 in Dailekh, 1 in Solukhumbu, 1 in Manang, 1 in Jajarkot, 1 in Humla. One has been added in Bajhang and one in Bajura, the ministry said.

Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 179 children under the age of 10, while 637 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been infected, the ministry said.
