In the last 24 hours, an additional 6,085 people have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus and 68 have died. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 17,147 PCR tested and 5,285 confirmed infected; similarly 3018 antigen tested and 800 confirmed infected. Tuesday's infection rate was 30.17 percent.
The number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 566,587 by Tuesday. Out of which, the number of active infected is 104,789. The number recovered in the last 24 hours is 6,898. So far, the number recovered is 454,344. The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 7,454.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1060 cases of corona infection have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 291 in Morang, 283 in Lalitpur, 283 in Jhapa, 232 in Kavrepalanchok, 215 in Bhaktapur, and 206 in Sunsari.
Similarly, 192 corona cases have been reported in Dhanusha, 188 in Gorkha, 174 in Chitwan, 169 in Kaski, 138 in Dang, 126 in Palpa, 116 in Makwanpur, 108 in Sindhupalchowk, and 103 in Rupandehi.
There were 96 cases of corona in Surkhet, 94 in Ramechhap, 79 in Nuwakot, 76 in Sarlahi, 74 in Dhading, 65 in Siraha, 58 in Mahottari, 55 in Dolakha, 55 in Dailekh, 54 in Dadeldhura, and 50 in Bara.
Similarly, 42 in Tanahun, 38 in Banke, 32 in Nawalparasi East, 32 in Kailali, 31 in Sindhuli, 30 in Darchula, 29 in Doti, 28 in Okhaldhunga, 28 in Syangja, 27 in Kapilvastu, 25 in Bardiya, 25 in Kanchanpur, 24 in Dhankuta, 21 in Kalikot and 23 in Nawalparasi.
Corona infection has been confirmed in 19 cases in Myagdi, 18 in Ilam, 18 in Salyan, 17 in Lamjung, 17 in Arghakhanchi, 15 in Rautahat, 14 in Saptari, 14 in Rukum West, 12 in Parsa and 11 in Udayapur.
Similarly, the ministry said corona infection confirmed 7 in Gulmi, 7 in Pyuthan, 7 in Jumla, 6 in Rolpa, 6 in Jajarkot, 5 in Khotang, 5 in Baglung, 3 in Taplejung, 3 in Rasuwa, 3 in Sankhuwasabha, 1 in Tehrathum, 1 in Bhojpur, 1 in Solukhumbu, 1 in Parbat, 1 in Rukum East and 1 in Achham.
Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 174 children under the age of 10 and 456 corona infections in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been added, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
