Nepal Covid-19 Update: 4762 New Cases, 6491 Recovered and 114 Deaths (31 May 2021): In the last 24 hours, an additional 4,762 people have been infected with the coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,178 people were confirmed in 15,055 PCR tests and 5,84 in 2,425 antigen tests. A total of 114 people have died due to the infection and 6,491 have been cleared of the infection.
As of Monday, the total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Nepal has reached 561,302. Out of which 4 lakh 47 thousand 446 people have been cleared of infection and 1 lakh 6 thousand 470 people are actively infected. The death toll from the infection has reached 7,386.
In the last 24 hours, 6491 people have been infected with covid infection across the country. Along with this, 4 lakh 47 thousand 446 infected people have been recovered across the country till Monday.
Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 112 children under the age of 10 and in 385 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years, according to the ministry.
According to the Ministry of Health, 890 corona infections have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 252/252 in Morang and Lalitpur, 220 in Dhading, 195 in Kailali, and 185 in Jhapa.
Similarly, 164 corona infections have been reported in Sunsari, 141 in Makwanpur, 129 in Kaski, 126 in Chitwan, 120 in Rupandehi, 117 in Dhanusha, and 113 in Kavrepalanchok.
In Sindhupalchowk 94, in Dang 75, in Darchula 74, in Nuwakot 62, in Kanchanpur 54, in Gorkha 53, and in Achham 52 corona infections have been added.
Similarly, 47 people have been infected in Saptari, 45 in Salyan, 41 in Palpa, 40 in Sarlahi, 34 in Mahottari, 32 in Tanahu, 29 in Bara, 27 in Khotang, 27 in Nawalparasi East, 26 in Tehrathum, and 25 in Surkhet.
20 in Parbat, 19 in Dolakha, 19 in Lamjung, 18 in Parsa, 17 in Dhankuta, 17 in Rautahat, 17 in Sindhuli, 16 in Okhaldhunga, 13 in Ramechhap, 13 in Jumla, 12 in Rasuwa, 12 in Banke, 11 in Siraha, 11 in Nawalparasi West, 11 in Dadeldhura and 10 in Myagdi have been added.
