Important Update from the National Examinations Board (NEB), Nepal: Amendments in Name, Surname, or Birth Date on SEE Certificates
The National Examinations Board (NEB) of Nepal, Examination Control Office 10 (SEE), located in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has released an important notice regarding the amendment of name, surname, or birth date on Secondary Education Examination (SEE) certificates. This announcement was made on 2080/03/22, following the publication of the SEE class 10 results on 2080/03/21.
The SEE class 10 examinations were conducted from 2079 Chaitra 17th to Chaitra 29th. As per Section 45 of the Secondary Education Passed Examination Conduct and Management Guideline 2068 (with amendments), students have the provision to amend their name, surname, or date of birth on the SEE grade sheet/certificate. This amendment should align with the details on their admission card/registration certificate or birth certificate/citizenship certificate.
Students are advised to submit an application to the NEB office within 6 months from the date of receipt of their SEE certificate, along with the necessary documents.
Required Documents for Amendment
For amendments as per the admission card/registration certificate:
- Original admit card or registration certificate
- Original SEE grade sheet and certificate
For amendments as per the birth certificate or citizenship certificate:
- Original SEE grade sheet and certificate
- Copy of birth certificate or citizenship certificate
- Completed judgment sheet issued by the chief district officer of the concerned district
