NEB Appeal to Teachers for SEE Checking & Grade 12 Exams

The National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal, acknowledges the significant attention given by students, parents, teachers, and stakeholders to the learning achievement assessments in secondary education.

In line with the annual schedule, the Class 10 SEE examination has been completed. Work is underway for the examination of answer sheets. Preparations are also ongoing for the Class 12 final secondary education examination, commencing on Baisakh 11, 2082.

The NEB holds a coordinating role in both these crucial tasks. The primary, sensitive, and vital role rests with the esteemed teaching community. This is a well-known fact.

Currently, teachers, under the leadership of the Nepal Teachers' Federation, are appealing to the government. Their demand is for the swift enactment of the Education Bill into law, addressing their professional rights and interests.

Simultaneously, students who have completed the Class 10 examinations are awaiting their results, which will shape their future. Parents are also planning for their children's quality education and bright prospects.

Class 12 students are eagerly awaiting the national-level final secondary education examination. This examination is significant as students anticipate receiving their hard-earned certificates of achievement from their school years.

The Grade 12 examination reflects the investment made by parents in their children, the dedication of teachers to their students, and the government's investment. Therefore, this level of examination is a highly sensitive and human matter. We should all be clear on this.

In the present situation, the timely provision of Class 10 results depends on the evaluation of answer scripts. The effective management of the national-level Class 12 examination relies on the participation of the esteemed teaching community.

For students' quality learning outcomes, teachers' professional security and academic advancement must align with students' opportunities and priorities.

Considering these aspects, along with their professional rights and security, teachers are urged to embrace the sensitive matter of their obedient students' future and priorities. The NEB, on its part, sincerely requests the continued support and participation of the Nepal Teachers' Federation, school principals, and the entire teaching community in the responsibility of answer script evaluation and the conduct and management of the Class 12 examination, as always.

Furthermore, all students are requested to continue their examination preparations with patience. Cooperation and support are also expected from parents and other concerned stakeholders in this regard.
