NEB Completes Preparation for Class 12 Exam 2023
The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced the completion of all preparations for the upcoming class 12 examinations, set to begin on May 9, 2023. NEB Chairman Dr. Mahashram Sharma has urged all candidates to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the examination period.
A Total of 467,389 Students to Take the Exam
According to Krishna Sharma, Controller of Examinations of the Board, a total of 467,389 students from all over the country will be taking the annual examination for class 12 this year. The board has designated 1,457 examination centers throughout the country for the examination. Appropriate personnel have been appointed to oversee the examination.
Grade Enhancement Exam and Non-graded Subjects
Over 56,000 students will be taking the grade enhancement exam this year, which is limited to the subject in which they received the lowest marks. Students who have received 'non-graded' in three or more subjects will be required to take the entire subject examination this year, even if they have filled the examination form for six subjects. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has revised the Letter Grading Guideline, 2078, in order to prevent students from dropping out due to the grade increase examination held last year.

Students who received non-graded in three or more subjects will be required to take the entire subject examination this year.
