This year's class 12 examination is scheduled to start on Monday (Jestha 16, 2079). The National Examination Board has stated that the necessary preparations have been completed for the examination which will continue till 25th Jestha 2079. Board spokesperson Jung Bahadur Aryal informed that 410,050 students will participate in the examination. Examinations will be conducted in 1,292 examination centers across the country.
The board is ready to conduct the examination only in the designated examination centers of all 77 districts by sending question papers online. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic in the previous two years, the students were tested at the same school (home center) where they studied. Aryal said that the examination will be held only in certain centers designated by the board as the epidemic has been removed and there is no lockdown. For that, the board has already determined the examination centers district-wise.
Arrangements were made to send question papers online during the examination conducted at the home center during the Covid epidemic. According to Board Member Secretary Durga Prasad Aryal, question papers will be sent to the centers on the day of the examination. The examination will be conducted from 8 am to 11 am. Earlier, the board had conducted the SEE examination from 9 to 20 Baishakh.
According to the Examination Control Office, preparations are underway to publish the results including the test of the SEE answer script. Preparations have been made to conduct SEE, Class 11 examinations, and publication of results and Class 12 examinations to start the new academic session of Class 11-12 from the first week of Shrawan.
