Nepali national football team forward Anjan Bista has been appointed Sports Brand Ambassador of Machhapuchhre School. Anjan has been made public as a sports brand ambassador during a program organized at the school premises in Kusunti, Lalitpur on Saturday.
School president Dr. Binod Yadav and Anjan have signed the agreement. The contract period is two years. Along with the agreement, Anjan will assist in the development of the school's academy and sports.
President of Machhapuchhre School Dr. Yadav said that Pauda was happy to include the key player of Nepali football team Bista in his school. He also claimed that Anjan's arrival would take him to new heights in his leap in the field of school sports. He expressed the belief that all the sectors would support the players in the field of sports and add more energy to the sport.
Anjan said that he would do his best to help in school sports and would do his best to increase the children's attachment towards sports.
He said, "I am happy to have signed an agreement with Machhapuchhre School. Along with this, I will now help to run the school's academy."
ANFA Academy Production Anjan is currently the regular player of the national team being the youth team of Nepal. He is also a marquee player of the second edition of Nepal Super League (NSL) Team Jhapa FC.
The Nepali team including Anjan had won U-19 SAAF Championship, 12th South Asian Games (SAG) Bangabandhu Gold Cup, AFC Solidarity Cup. He also won the Three Nations Cup at Homeground.
Vice President of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Upendraman Singh was the chief guest of the program.
He congratulated the school and Anjan for the program and urged Machhapuchhre School to participate in the ANFA school competition.
