Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu Notice Regarding National and Provincial Talent Awards
Under the Culture Promotion Program of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, as per the approved annual program for the current fiscal year 2061/062, National Talent Awards will be presented in the listed categories.
Additionally, one Provincial Talent Award will be presented to an individual from each province in each category. Individuals and institutions that have made exemplary contributions to the nation in the following fields are invited to submit their applications or recommendations to the Ministry's Culture Division within 30 (thirty) days of the publication of this notice, as per Clause 4 (6. c) of the National and Provincial Talent Awards Procedure.

1) Main Categories and Fields for the Awards:
Main Categories: (a) Culture
(b) Music and Drama
(c) Fine Arts: Culture, History, Archaeology, Sociology, Anthropology, Folklore, Dramatic Arts, Dance, Music
(d) Language and Literature: Painting, Sculpture, Architecture, Handicrafts, Craftsmanship, Study and Research in National and Regional Languages, and works written in these languages such as Poetry, Fiction, Essays, Drama, Criticism.
2) Documents or Details to be Included When Submitting Applications or Recommendations:
(a) Detailed information of the individual or institution: Name, Surname, Parents' Names, Spouse's Name (if married).
(b) Contact address, Email, Mobile number.
(c) Certified copy of Nepalese citizenship.
(d) Two passport-sized photographs.
(e) Details of published outstanding works (including a copy of the work, if possible).
(f) If no published work exists, other materials introducing the talent.
(g) Details showing the excellence of the work, art, or contribution for which the award is claimed.
(h) If recommended by an institution, a letter from the recommending institution.
Note: The recommendations or application forms received for the awards will be limited to the purpose of informing the selection committee. Besides the recommendations or application forms, the selection committee may also evaluate based on contributions.
