Nagarik App

Nagarik App Launches by Government of Nepal:

The government on Friday unveiled a beta version of the Nagarik app to provide all possible government services. This app, which has been made public with the objective of not having to visit government offices as much as possible for government services, is also very easy to use.

Currently, an arrangement has been made to get the PAN number from this app. In the coming days, similarly, other government services will also be available in this app.

The government plans to gradually integrate all the apps launched by various government agencies into this app. Here we are telling you how to open an account in the Nagarik app.

For this, first, you have to download the Nagarik app on your mobile.

Now open the app and choose the language and proceed to open the account. If you have Dark Mode turned on on your mobile, don't forget to turn it off.

Now put your mobile number in it. Remember, you cannot open an account in this app from someone else's mobile number.

So keep a mobile number registered in your own name and 'go-ahead'. After doing so, the app sends a 6-digit code via SMS to make sure that the mobile number you just have is with you.

Put the code in the same app and press 'Go Forward' again. Just like verifying your mobile number, in order to register in the app, you have to verify your details from your identity card.

For that, choose one of the options of citizenship, voter identity card, or passport and fill in the details. For example, if you choose citizenship, specify its number, district of issue, date of birth, and date of issue, and proceed.

Verification will be successful if the details you mentioned and the details in the Ministry of Home Affairs are found. At the same time, a form opens.

Add your missing details, correct the wrong details, and move on. This will complete your registration process in the Nagarik app. Now you can use the service available in the app by putting the pin code in it.
