Motherland Secondary School Pokhara Honors Scholarship Recipients for International Studies
In a remarkable ceremony, Motherland Secondary School of Pokhara celebrated and honored students who have achieved scholarships to pursue their education in renowned international colleges and universities. These exceptional individuals received scholarships after completing their Class 12 studies, and their achievements were recognized and applauded by the school.
Here are some notable students who were awarded full scholarships to esteemed educational institutions:
- Samrat Dhungana: Harvard University, USA
- Oscar Diyali: Cornell College, USA
- Vibhushi Timilsina and Diksha Giri: Sweet Barrier College, USA
- Nishant Chaudhary: University of Southern Mississippi, USA
- Sandesh Acharya: Hainan Normal University, China
- Alok Paudel: Mission State University, USA
- Prashant Bhandari: National Medical College, Nepal
It is noteworthy that fourteen students who completed their tenth grade at the school this year alone have been granted full scholarships to various universities, opening doors to promising futures.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the esteemed chief guest, Professor Dr. Ganeshman Gurung, the Vice-Chancellor of Gandaki University. Professor Gurung acknowledged that Nepalese students have limited opportunities to study in globally renowned universities on full scholarships. He emphasized that these students have the privilege to pursue their education in these prestigious colleges without the need for anyone's endorsement or influence.
In the past, educational opportunities in Nepal were typically reserved for leaders and their relatives, but in international universities, such permissions are unnecessary. Professor Gurung regarded this as a significant turning point for students and urged the school to continue nurturing and empowering students to excel in the future.
The event showcased the school's commitment to providing quality education and nurturing the talents of its students. By recognizing and honoring these scholarship recipients, Motherland Secondary School of Pokhara encourages and motivates other students to strive for excellence and explore educational opportunities beyond borders.
