Mother Tongue Poetry Submissions Notice from Adivasi Janajati Utthan Rastriya Pratisthan
The Government of Nepal's National Foundation For Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN -Adivasi Janajati Utthan Rastriya Pratisthan) is excited to announce an open call for poetry submissions. This initiative aims to celebrate and preserve the rich diversity of indigenous languages, in line with the International Tribal Mother Language Decade. We invite talented poets to share their voices and stories through the medium of poetry, written in their mother tongue.
Submission Guidelines
To participate in the upcoming mother tongue poetry recital on February 21, 2024, please adhere to the following standards:
- Unpublished Work: Submit poems that are up to 150 words and have not been previously published.
- Language Requirements: Alongside the original poem in your mother tongue, provide a translation in the Nepali language to make your work accessible to a broader audience.
- Formatting Details: Ensure your poem is typed in Preeti font, size 14. Do not forget to include your contact information (both phone number and email address) for communication purposes.
