Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS) Notice Regarding the Method of Sending Nepali Workers to Korea:

Subject: Regarding the Method of Sending Nepali Workers to Korea.
Although only Nepali citizens can be sent for foreign employment as per the Foreign Employment Act, 2064 and Foreign Employment Rules, 2064, it is understood that some local levels send Nepali citizens for employment through direct contact and understanding with various governmental and non-governmental bodies of the Republic of Korea; For foreign employment, Nepali citizens can go to Korea only according to the following procedure. There is a decisive request to inform all the local levels.
The following:
1) According to the labor agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of the Republic of Korea, there is an arrangement to send Nepali workers to Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS).
2) On the basis of ‘E-7 Visa’ (Individual Recruitment) issued by the Korean government, there is an arrangement to go to Korea for foreign employment with ‘Personal Labor Approval’ from the Department of Foreign Employment.
