Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Releases Draft National Human Resources Policy, 2080 for Discussion

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has released the preliminary draft of the Human Resources Policy, 2080 for internal discussion to gather opinions and suggestions from stakeholders. The decision of the Coordinating Committee on the formulation of the Human Resources Policy led to the publication of the draft through the ministry's website. 

The National Human Resources Policy 2080 has been created to address the nation's long-term thinking, national education policy, national science technology and innovation policy, sustainable development goals, the policies of relevant ministries and agencies, and the goals of periodic plans. The ministry emphasizes that the national manpower development policy is crucial to improve the living standards of common citizens by achieving geographical and regional balance and equality.

The ministry prepared a draft for the development of human resources, stating that national and international level policies and standards are essential. National commitments related to human resources development have been established based on this policy. These commitments include enabling citizens to serve the nation in accordance with national needs, ensuring equal and easy access of the people to the services provided by the state, and guaranteeing good governance.

The Human Resources Policy has five objectives, ten policies, 25 strategies, and 104 tactics determined for the development policy. The implementation of the National Policy 2080 will be reviewed every seven years.

Overall, the release of this preliminary draft is an essential step toward developing a comprehensive policy that addresses the needs of citizens and promotes national growth. The inclusion of feedback from stakeholders ensures that the final policy will be well-rounded and inclusive, taking into account the diverse perspectives and opinions of all concerned parties.
