The Ministry of Home Affairs has requested not to rent rooms or flats to those who do not have identity cards. The request was made by the Ministry of Home Affairs after foreigners who entered Nepal illegally started renting rooms in Nepal.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has also requested in a press release to inform the police if anyone is found renting a room or coming to work.
"As it is understood from the incidents of the last few days that some foreign nationals are trying to enter Nepal illegally by hiding their identities, we request everyone not to rent houses, apartments, flats, rooms, etc. without any official identity card and not to employ such people." A statement from the Ministry of Home Affairs said, "If any unidentified foreign nationals are seen or found, please contact the nearest police station and provide assistance."
