The Ministry of Health and Population has recommended to the Ministry of Education and COVID-19 Crisis Management Center to postpone the upcoming examinations.
The ministry has recommended postponing all exams as corona infection rates start to rise. Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha said that the Covid-19 infection was spreading and recommended postponing the examination on Friday. Currently, about four lakh students are waiting for the exam.
Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha said on Twitter, "We are extremely sensitive to the lives of four lakh students. I would like to inform the Ministry of Education and Covid-19 Crisis Management Center to postpone all upcoming exams."
The class 12 examination is scheduled to start from Shrawan 31st. Similarly, Bachelor level students are also waiting for the exam.
