The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA) has decided to organize ‘Pratibha Dabali’ for the innovative thinking and talent of civil servants.
The Ministry, in collaboration with Idea Studio, has called upon the civil servants to submit their applications within 13 Ashads, citing innovative thinking, problem identification, innovative solutions, and their benefits for the development of their inherent talents.
Out of the applications, the best 10 ideas, talents, or thoughts will be selected and the best three will be given financial prizes and certificates.
In an interaction held on Monday to include the top three ideas in the program and budget, Ministry Secretary Suresh Adhikari said that innovative thinking could be proposed in the areas of production, service delivery, development, environment, and disaster management, daily work, and others.
"Before making a new thinking or policy decision, it is necessary to analyze the whole aspect of it. Civil servants are not only for jobs but also part of the government," he said.
In order to showcase the talents of the civil servants, according to the approved annual program of the current Fiscal Year, the program operation procedure has been issued to develop the government system capacity and provide opportunities to help in policy formulation, policy implementation, service delivery, and development.
The ministry had written to all the ministries and agencies in the last 30 Jestha to participate in the double as per the procedure.
