Ministry of Education Publishes 7 Points Urgent Notice for All: Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, Nepal.
In concern of the recent rapid spread of Covid-19 infection, the following is the recommendation of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMC) dated 2078-09-25 and the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology dated 2078-09-26.
1) All the basic and secondary schools across the country will be given leave from the 27th of Poush 2078 to the 15th of Magh 2078 so that the annual leave will be matched. Necessary facilitation in the learning of students as per the provision made in the Learning Facilitation Directive 2077 during the leave period.
2) Necessary coordination and facilitation in the vaccination campaign for students in the age group of 12 to 17 years by contacting the local health post at the local level during the leave period.
3) To fully vaccinate all age groups of 18 years and above, the remaining students, teachers, staff and parents of the educational institution should contact the local health post for vaccination.
4) To conduct pre-determined semester and annual examinations of universities and educational institutes by arranging accommodation in Z shape in compliance with public health and safety standards. Mandatory use of masks and sanitizers in examination centers and strictly enforce the provision of physical distance.
5) Arrangements will be made by the concerned educational institution to keep the vaccine card compulsory for all those who enter the educational institution from 7th Magha, 2078.
6) All educational institutions will not organize public events such as Parents' Day or annual celebrations until further notice.
7) This time, National Yoga Day will be celebrated on Magha 1, 2078 BS with the slogan "Yoga for All-round Development" without any public gathering or ceremony.
