The school will have to spend the aid money on technical laboratory installation, an extension of internet facilities, installation of smart boards, computer and information technology laboratory, the building of changing rooms for toilets and girls with adequate water, improvement of green school environment and paintings, construction of playground and extension, management of sports materials.
Ministry spokesman Deepak Sharma said that a maximum of Rs 25 lakh will be given after studying the school proposal. The Ministry of Education has called for the proposal to be submitted. Ministry officials have expressed the possibility that misuse of funds could be misused. Schools wishing to seek assistance must submit a proposal at the relevant local level within Chaitra 7th. The proposal should be approved by the Village Executive and sent to the Education and Human Resource Development Center at the local level by the 15th Chaitra.
The money is to be donated under the President's Educational Reform Program. The government has allocated Rs 5 billion for the program this year. Of this amount, 1 billion 277 million 90 thousand rupees has been allocated for the purchase of sanitary pads for the government school students, said Jaya Prasad Acharya, deputy secretary of the ministry.
The Ministry had prepared the procedure for this program some time ago. Ministry officials suspect that if the funding for upgrading the community school is positive, it should be spent within 3 months. There are 28,000 schools of government investment across the country. According to spokesperson Sharma, many offers will be given only to the best. '25 lakhs maximum limit is not given to all.
