Ministry of Education Directs to Run the Office from Half Staff:

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has directed the subordinate bodies to allow only 50 percent of the employees to be present in the office.

A circular issued by the ministry on Thursday states that the remaining employees should work from home in shifts. The cabinet meeting held on August 10 had decided to run the office with a maximum of 50 percent staff in more than 200 infected districts.

The ministry has given such instructions to the Teachers Service Commission, Education and Human Resource Development Center, National Examination Board, Keshar Library, Teacher Record Office, CTEVT, University Grants Commission, and Dillerman Welfare Memorial Library.

Similarly, National Forensic Science Laboratory, Food for Education Program Project, CTEVT Project, all divisions under the Ministry, Educational Quality Testing Center, Curriculum Development Center, National Library, Medical Education Commission, and Janak Education Materials Center have been directed to run the office with less than half staff.
