Government of Nepal, Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu Notice Regarding Awards 2081
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has scheduled the distribution of the following awards included in the approved program of the current fiscal year 2081/082. This notice is published for individuals and institutions who have contributed in the specified fields and categories to submit their applications or recommendations to this Ministry within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notice.
The award procedures and application forms can be downloaded from the Ministry's website www.tourism.gov.np or obtained by contacting the Culture Division of the Ministry.
A) B.P. Koirala National Award, 2081:
(1) Category: Political Philosophy
(2) Category: Literature
B) Shatabdi Purush Satyamohan Joshi National Award, 2081:
(1) Field/Category: Nepali and Nepal Language, Literature, Nepali Culture, and History
C) Bhagat Sarvjit Human Dignity National Award, 2081:
(1) Field/Category: Political, Social, Educational, and Cultural Fields
(2) Field/Category: Dalit Liberation Movement
(3) Field/Category: Social Reform Campaign
(4) Field/Category: Skills, Art, Education, Literature, Culture, Writing, and Research
(5) Field/Category: Human Rights
D) Yugkavi Siddhicharan Shrestha National Award, 2081:
(1) Field/Category: Nepali, Nepal, and Other Language Literature, and Libertarian and Progressive Poetry
Details and Documents to be Included When Submitting Applications or Recommendations:
(1) Detailed information about the individual or institution: Name/Surname, Parent’s Name, Spouse's Name if married.
(2) Bio-data of the individual or institution, contact address, email, mobile number.
(3) Certified copy of Nepali citizenship, two passport-sized photos.
(4) Details of published outstanding works (one copy of each work, if possible).
(5) In the absence of published works, other introductory materials about the talent.
(6) If recommended by an institution, a letter from the recommending institution.
Note: Recommendations or documents received for the awards will be limited to the purposes of the selection committee. The selection committee may also evaluate based on contributions, apart from the recommendations or documents.
