Minister for Education, Science & Technology Devendra Poudel has directed Tribhuvan University to publish the results of the students on time. Minister Poudel, who reached the Examination Control Office in Balkhu today to monitor the situation, directed to publish the results of the students on time without making any excuses.
"Some students have complained that they have not been able to apply for the advertisement published by the service commission. When the result is not published, the student is deprived of that opportunity. TU should publish the result through 'fast track'," he said.
Controller of Examinations Pushparaj Joshi informed the Minister that the results could not be released on time due to lack of manpower. "Even if the temporary staff was brought to the service commission due to lack of manpower, the work of the service recipients had to be done on time," said the Minister.
Stating that there are many complaints of students in the humanities faculty, the Minister urged the staff to focus on working without any complaints. Meanwhile, Controller of Examinations Joshi said that the results would be published within three months after the examination if there was sufficient manpower.
Controller of Examinations Joshi said that it would take one year for the new employees to learn the system when the old employees retire. He admitted that out of 224 employees in the Office of the Controller of Examinations, 137 were working and the results could not be given on time.
