Improving Public Schools in Nepal: Narayan Man Bijukchhe's Vision
Narayan Man Bijukchhe, the president of Nepal Workers Peasants Party, recently inaugurated the newly constructed building of Medha Secondary School in Tapalachhi, Bhaktapur Municipality-3. During the event, he expressed his belief that the key to increasing student enrollment in public schools across the country is to improve the quality of education they provide. He cited Medha Secondary School as a prime example of a public school that has successfully achieved this goal.
Medha Secondary School - A Model for Quality Education
According to Bijukchhe, Medha Secondary School has become the best public school in Bhaktapur due to its dedication to providing quality education. He pointed out that many other public schools in Bhaktapur have followed suit and have also increased their student numbers as a result. Bijukchhe believes that other community schools across Nepal should take lessons from Medha Secondary School and develop it as a model community school. This, he says, will enable the people of the country to receive quality education easily.
Honoring Supporters of the School
During the inauguration ceremony, Bijukchhe dressed former teachers, staff, donors, and helpers in dosalla and presented them with copper letters as a token of gratitude for their support in constructing the school.
