MBBS Program to Begin at Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences Next Year

In a recent discussion with MIHS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ankur Sah, Registrar Prof. Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav, and Medical Director of Provincial Hospital Janakpurdham Dr. Ramnaresh Pandit, Chief Minister Singh reiterated the state government’s commitment to this initiative. This program is part of the policy agenda for the upcoming fiscal year, as detailed by the state chief Sumitra Subedi Bhandari. The policy includes expanding the necessary infrastructure for graduate programs such as MBBS, BDS, B Pharmacy, and BMLT.

He stated, "The Chief Minister has agreed to initiate the MBBS program and has expressed his support for its implementation." Prof. Dr. Sah also conveyed that Chief Minister Singh has committed to allocating the necessary funds in the upcoming budget to support the infrastructure and other essential needs for the program.
