Mahendra Ratna Campus Alumni Pledge Support for Building a Stronger Future
The Mahendra Ratna Campus, located in Tahachal, holds a significant place in the hearts of its former students. Reflecting the strong ties that bind them to their alma mater, these alumni have expressed their commitment to give back to the campus. They made this pledge during a recent reunion event, where they underscored the importance of continual support for the campus's growth and development.
Creating Bonds Through the Alumni Society
In a bid to nurture and strengthen their emotional connections, the alumni have taken a significant step. They have established the Mahendra Ratna Campus Alumni Society, a forum dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships among former students and facilitating creative support for the campus. This move is not just about preserving memories, but about building bridges to a better future.
Steering the Society: Ad Hoc Committee Formation
An ad hoc committee has been formed to guide the society, with Mohan Gautam, a former Free Students Union (FSU) president of the campus, taking the helm as chairman. Gautam's leadership experience is expected to bring a strategic direction to the society and boost its positive impact on the campus.
The Role of Alumni in Education Sector Development
During the program, Gehendra Dahal, the head of the campus, recognized the potential contributions of the former students. Dahal believes that the alumni, having once been a part of the campus themselves, will play a crucial role in shaping the education sector.
Collaboration Facilitated Through the Alumni Society
Dilliram Sharma, another former president of the Free Students Union, echoed Dahal's sentiments. Sharma highlighted how the formation of the alumni society would make it easier for ex-students of Mahendra Ratna Campus to collaborate. Such cooperation could streamline efforts and amplify the beneficial outcomes for both the students and the campus.
Discussing Student and Campus Welfare
The program also saw thoughtful discussions about student and campus welfare. Led by Anil Rijal, a former Free Students Union President, and Ishwar Thapa, the current FSU president, these talks emphasized the importance of considering the well-being of students in every decision the society makes.
By working closely with the Mahendra Ratna Campus, these devoted alumni aim to contribute to a prosperous and inclusive educational environment, ensuring the campus remains a beacon of learning for future generations.
