Province no 3 Provincial Assembly

The meeting of the Provincial Assembly in the province no. 3 has unanimously passed the ‘Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences Bill, 2076' and ‘Provincial Assembly Rules, 2074 Rules for the First Amendment, 2076'.

At the meeting, Minister of Social Development Yuvraj Dulal had proposed to pass the Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences Bill and Rameshwar Phuyal, the coordinator of the Taskforce, the first amendment of the Provincial Assembly rules.

Responding to the curiosity raised in the discussion over the Bill, Minister for Social Development Dulal assured that Hetauda Hospital would be provided with fair treatment facilities in future to provide quality treatment services to the students of all provinces.

Speaking at the special time of the meeting, the members of the Provincial Assembly demanded that the state government should coordinate with the central government to provide clean drinking water to the local consumers as soon as possible through the internal management of Melamchi Drinking Water Project in Kathmandu Valley and provide drinking water to Kathmandu decades later.

They urged the government to make a self-review of the capital soon after a year and a half after the formation of the Provincial Assembly.

They questioned the process of construction of these schemes so far as the state government has been included in the policy program for the construction of a tunnel route connecting Hetauda-Kulekhani to Kathmandu and Bhimfedi-Kathmandu in the current budget.

Speakers at the special time of the meeting included Basant Manandhar, Dipendra Shrestha, Suresh Nepal, Nhuchenarayan Shrestha, Jagat Bahadur Singh, Narottam Vaidya, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Geeta Wagle, Srijana Saiju, Junelli Maya Shrestha, Shanti Prasad Poudel, Narayan Bahadur Silwal, Buddhiman Majhi and Rameshwor Phuyal.
