
The ‘My School, My Responsibility’ campaign is being launched in Lumbini Province. The Ministry of Social Development is initiating the ‘My School, My Responsibility’ campaign to utilize former students' knowledge, skills, and investment in all province schools.
Chief Minister Chetanarayan Acharya will inaugurate the campaign today, Friday, from Argha Rajsthal Secondary School in Arghakhanchi, where he studied. The campaign is being launched simultaneously in 17 schools. "This campaign is necessary to improve the educational quality of community schools," Chief Minister Acharya said. It is also necessary to increase trust and confidence in community schools, which have become the choice of 71 percent of children.
The ‘My School, My Responsibility’ social campaign was included in the policy program of the provincial government to maintain the reputation and prestige of public schools and to increase the accountability of all stakeholders towards community schools.
Minister for Social Development Janmajay Timilsina informed us that this campaign is being conducted to target community schools throughout the province.
This campaign aims to enhance the educational quality of community schools. It is believed that this campaign, initiated to improve the situation after last year's weak SEE results, will incorporate the contribution of former students to enhance quality learning among students. This campaign is believed to effectively improve the educational situation by getting information about the schools they studied in and interacting with former and current students.
There are 6,340 schools in the province. Among them, 4,531, of which schools. Of 1,288,298 students studying in these schools, 925,629 are studying in comparison.
