Special Notice regarding deferred vacancy programs
NOTE NO. 595 / 076-77
In view of the health-safety sensitivities caused by Coronavirus disease (Covid-19), all examinations and advertisements, including written examinations and interviews conducted by the Commission, have been postponed until further notice; Considering the decision taken by the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal on 2077-01-14, this information has been published for the information of all concerned regarding the following arrangements made as per the decision of the Commission dated 2077-02-05.
Regarding the Civil Service Vacancy Program: -
- In the case of advertisements which have completed the written examination and have entered the interview program, a new schedule will be determined and published later.
- In case of advertisements in which the examination program of any stage (first stage examination / written examination / experimental examination etc.) is fully or partially conducted, the new examination schedule of all the remaining examinations will be determined after the situation becomes normal.
- The examination program has been postponed until further notice from the Government of Nepal in the case of advertisements where applications have been collected but no examination program has been conducted at any stage.
- It has been decided to close the application process for various advertisements for Gazetted Unnumbered Second Class (Non-Technical) Buyers or similar posts published in 2076-11-28 from Friday, 2077-02-9. Arrangements will be made for the candidates who have already submitted the application but are yet to submit the application fee to pay the fee within a specified period after the situation becomes normal. The examination program of the said advertisements has been postponed till further decision by the Government of Nepal.
- As per the approved annual work schedule of the commission, the work of publishing advertisements for the remaining posts has been postponed for the time being.
- A new examination program will be determined after the situation becomes normal in the case of advertisement of judicial service posts under the jurisdiction of the Judicial Service Commission.
Regarding conducting examinations of security bodies and organized organizations: -
- Determination of new examination schedule after the situation has returned to normal in case of any stage examination (physical fitness test, IQ examination, first stage examination, written examination, or other similar examinations) or the written examination of the body/institution which is yet to be conducted. Will be made public.
- The examination program of the advertisement of the body/institution which has already been published by the concerned body/institution but the examination program is yet to be determined by the Commission has been postponed till further decision by the Government of Nepal.

The following information regarding the recommendation of the following advertisements published by the Public Service Commission has been posted on the website of the Commission as well as on the notice board of the concerned office and has also been published in the information leaflet of the Commission dated 2077.2.7.
