The first National Conference of Public Service Commissions was held in Dhulikhel Kavrepalanchok from 2077 Falgun 23 to 24, which was organized by the Public Service Commission with the participation of the officials and staff of the Public Service Commission and the Public Service Commissions of the Provinces (Province No. 1, Province No. 2, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province).
Chairperson and members of the Public Service Commission, former chairpersons of the Public Service Commission Tirthaman Shakya, Kayodevi Yami, former members of the Commission Prof. Dr. Bhimdev Bhatt, Prof. Krishna Prasad Pokhrel, Rajendra Prasad Sah, Tika Dutta Niraula, Dr. Govind Prasad Kusum, and Shree Purush Dhakal and Province Public Service Commissions' chairpersons, members and secretaries of the Provincial Public Service Commission of Province No. 1, Province No. 2, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province) were present. The two-day conference was concluded by issuing the following decisions and declarations.
Decisions
1) To coordinate, cooperate and facilitate as per the need from the Public Service Commission and its subordinate offices to establish, promote and enhance the merit system in the work to be performed by the Provincial Public Service Commission. To make this work systematic, visit the Provincial Public Service Commissions as required and exchange advice and suggestions through interactive discussions.
2) To demand from the Government of Nepal to review the provisions related to the rank and order of the Chairperson and members of the Public Service Commission and the Provincial Public Service Commission fixed on 16 Baishakh 2076, taking into account the prevailing legal provisions, appointment and dismissal process, and responsibilities.
3) While conducting investigative and promotional activities from the Provincial Public Service Commission, the Public Service Commission may request expert services from the Public Service Commission and coordinate as required in the process of preparation of curriculum, preparation of question papers, modification, examination, examination, and recommendation. To facilitate
4) To draw the serious attention of the Government of Nepal, the state government, and the local level government for the immediate formulation of laws related to the federal civil service, state civil service, and local government service.
5) The Public Service Commission shall also participate in the seminar of the Inter-State Public Service Commission to be organized by the Provincial Public Service Commission.
6) To organize National Conference of Public Service Commissions on 23rd Falgun every year.
