Lok Sewa Aayog New Building Inaugurated in Kamalpokhari:

The newly constructed office building of the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) at Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 1 was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Umesh Prasad Mainali on Wednesday. The honorable chairperson offered pooja at the Kumari Mandir in the premises of the Commission building from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, after which the banner was unveiled and the ribbon-cutting building was inaugurated.

During the inauguration ceremony, the building was constructed by the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) at the site of the old building damaged by the earthquake of 2072 BS. Mr. Shyam Kishore Singh, Construction Entrepreneur Mr. Shyam Sundar United JV Company Mr. Ashok Malla and his team were thanked.

Addressing the officials and staffs of the Commission at the inauguration function, the Hon'ble Chairman said that it was becoming difficult to carry out the work from the office building in Anamnagar to carry out the additional responsibilities provided by the Constitution of Nepal; He expressed the view that the newly constructed building would make a significant contribution to the work of the Commission with additional energy while remaining committed to its core competencies, cleanliness, and impartiality.

Immediately after the inauguration program, the Hon'ble Chairperson and members of the Commission took their seats in the designated working room of the newly constructed building.
