Regarding the budget details of the local level Fiscal Year 2076/077.
Local-level (all 753 levels).
Sub-section (3) of Article 59 of the Constitution of Nepal provides that "Union, State, and local level shall make their own level budget and the time of submission of the budget to the State and Local level shall be in accordance with federal law".
Sub-section (1) of section 71 of the Local Government Operations Act, 2074 and sub-section (3) of Article 21 of the Inter-Government Financing Management Act, 2074, estimates the revenue and expenditure by the village executive and the city executive within ten months of the next July. Arrangements have been made for the expenditure only after approval and submission to the concerned Rural Municipality (Gaupalika) / Municipality (Nagarpalika) assembly.
In this regard, as per the information received in this Ministry, till date 2076/09/27 (10:00 am), the details regarding the budget and expenditure estimates (budget) of the current Fiscal Year 2076/077 have been carried out by the local people in their Rural Municipality (Gaupalika) / Municipality (Nagarpalika) assembly. Google Drive Sheet has been retained. In the event of any alteration in the details, the information is requested to be made available to this branch immediately.
