While increasing the number of schools teaching in English medium in the urban areas, Lalitpur Metropolitan City has prepared to open Nepal language school (Nepal Bhasa School). Mahendra Bahadur Kshetri, the education officer of the Metropolitan City, is being discussed to open the school in Nepal Bhasha for the purpose of teaching children in the mother tongue.
The Metropolitan started teaching from Nepal Bhasha in Early Child Development for some years ago. Currently, 10 Early Childhood Development (ECD) is in operation. He said that the purpose of initiating Nepal Bhasha to upper classes from the lower level of the school is to be done. He said, "At the baseline level, the parents will be able to teach in their own language."
The community school has been preparing to start classes in the mother tongue when the community school is studying in English medium for attracting the guardian. According to the Education Officer, Regional Officer, some parents are attracted to Nepali and some parents who want to teach their children in the mother tongue. He emphasized that the schools currently operated in the mother tongue should also be taught. He said, "Schools should be taught in a different way in order to teach them in the desired way."
The total number of 222 schools in the Lalitpur Metropolitan City and the total number of Early Child Development 40, and 182 institutional organizations. The script is written in Nepal language that Nepal had introduced to its UN membership in its original scripts.
