
Kathmandu University and Siam University Sign Agreement to Promote Thai Students in Nepal
Kathmandu University and Siam University of Thailand have signed a memorandum of understanding to increase the number of Thai students pursuing higher education in Nepal in subjects including Glaciology.
The signing took place in the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Thai counterpart Srettha Thavisin following a bilateral meeting during PM Oli's official visit to Thailand. The MoU was signed between Kathmandu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Achyut Wagle and Siam University President Pornchai Mongkhonvanit.
According to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Wagle, this agreement paves the way for Thai students to come to Nepal to study subjects such as Glaciology, Traditional Architecture, and Environmental Science under a more accessible and supportive framework.
